Leading research tells us: 3 million of the 15 million people who suffer from asthma are exposed to triggering substances at work. The EPA states that billions of dollars are spent annually on treating respiratory illness. Second hand smoke has been responsible for more than 50,000 deaths in USA. Second hand smoke has been shown to double the risk of heart disease in people who don't smoke. The incidence of lung disease is greater in those individuals exposed to second hand smoke such as innocent children. Oxidation is the process where low level ozone meets an air pollutant, attaches to it and changes it into a harmless compound. Ozone, also known as "activated oxygen", destroys pollutants in the air, whether they be smoke, chemical, mold, or other substances. The result is healthy, refreshing, and revitalized air to breath, free of molds, mildews, fungus, chemicals, smoke and other airborne pollutants. You probably already know that air filters and other air cleaning systems don't work effectively. Filters do not effectively change the air, destroy pollutants or completely eliminate odors. Haze, air pollutants, smog, excessive carbon monoxide in the air and the presence of heavy metals emitted by factories in the air can all subject our lungs to undue wear and tear and respiratory disorders like asthma, bronchitis, sinus and more. Dry coughs, intermittent and persistent coughs, sore throats, wheezing and difficult breathing are all result of dust particles and pollutants imitating our respiratory organs. Some of these pollutants are carcinogens (cancer causing agents) and can cause health problems, premature aging and degeneration of the body cells. RESP:
